Wales 2003 Range Rover SE Td6 Zambezi Silver

RR8701

I have just fitted 2010 wheels on my 2003 Td6. Yes, the more recent nuts are what you need.

Beware it is possible to fit newer wheels to the car with the old nuts, but they will be loose and extremely dangerous. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

hi guys, would these work to fit 2006 alloys to a 2004 range rover???

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-14x1-5-WHEEL-...2a077d4d27

i would imagine all range rover sport nuts, original included and all l322 nuts 2006 on would work ?

I recently bought a set for £45 from a company called mtec on eBay. That was for 20 standard nuts not including locking nuts. I did a couple of days searching they seemed to be the best price and delivery combo. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

My 2007 MY TDV8 has 19 x 19mm nuts and 1 x 22mm nuts, well that's what size wrench is needed for them. I assume these are wrong because there is a multi wrench in the boot as if a previous owner has known of the problem, the standar wrench is too big for the 19mm, if i remember correctly?

My question now, why are they 19mm, what spec are the 19mm (the picture shows a 22mm shank) and are they OK for the 2011 Autobiography wheels ive just fit tonight or do i need 19 x new ones?

Thanks

Carl

19mm nuts will be the pre-facelift ones with the smaller shank..

They don't look like the smaller ones scarey, I thought the shanks were the same because the fit the same into the new wheel bolt holes. If they were the smaller shank they would be loose in the holes and they aren't.

Essentially they are the new style but with a 19mm head, perhaps none genuine?

afaik black in colour 19mm nut heads are a bmw size which makes them the pre facelift....any 21mm [or 22mm] heads are the newer 23mm shank ones and silver in colour..
i hav'nt seen or heard of 19mm heads with 23mm shanks but life does have surprises. Very Happy

but , could the silver tops have come off the 23mm shanks ones resulting in 19mm heads.. Question

They were deffo like the nut on the right but needed a 19mm wrench. It would be too coincidental for all 19 to have had the cap come off and they didnt appear like that had happened.

Im now looking at replacing them all, worried they arent OEM items Shocked
