Lots of good stuff!

As I said, I'll still watch TG and still read his books, they made me Censored with laughter, almost literally, but I think he is becoming overtly obnoxious.

England 2007 Range Rover TDV8 Vogue SE Auto Tonga Green

still it continues...

...now Mr Clarkson is getting critisised for other comments from the same interview - where he considered people who jump in front of trains as selfish Banging Head

What the hell is going on this week?

As far as I am concerned he is completely right - people who do commit suicide are selfish (or mentally disturbed) - especially when throwing themselves in front of a train.

One of our biggest contracts is with LUL London Underground and I have many colleagues who have witnessed such emotionally distressing scenes and have to deal with the aftermath of such miserable and sickening situations - in the majority of cases, these almost daily events do not get reported - probably because it happens that often!!

The poor train drivers who can do nothing to prevent hitting them, the innocent bystanders who witness it, the unfortunate members of Transport Police who have to clear the mess up (and believe me - it is a mess).

Sadly, I have personally known 3 people that chose to commit suicide (not using the above method mind you) but I still belive this is one of selfish acts a human being can commit - the heartbreak it causes for close family and friends is tortuous and unfair

Why Mr Clarkson has to be attacked for stating the obvious is beyond me - is there really nothing more important going on in the world at the moment?

I think they are all a tad jealous he is in a position to say what he thinks/feels without having to be politically correct and simply say what the have been told to by their party PR team.

Clarkson has hit the damn nail on the head, he has only said everything that is wrong with 21st century society and some of the selfish people in it. And as far as those union tossers are concerned, their reaction says more about them than him! his comments were tongue in cheek, if they don't like it then bloody ignore it, stop complaining and get a job in the private sector where most of us don't even have a pension!

a pension Shocked whats one of those.....

jezza is a legend and i think its great that he says what everyone else is thinking and as for tg that would be no better than 5th gear without him plus im pretty sure he owns the rights to that show anyway so not an easy task getting rid of him

The fact he likes the Evoque and supported it for the Top Gear COTY is not an issue for me as I have one on order.

I actually like the Evoque, but I know I am in the minority in this forum as proven in the poll I initiated. 2011 Evoque Prestige SD4 Lux + Adaptive Dynamics
