United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover HSE Td6 Adriatic Blue

The FFRR is more than capable. The Disco lads were impressed. I guess the thing with Range Rovers is you dont tend to see them off road that often which then leads people to think they cant cope. Basically the car can cope no problems, it the owners that dont like it. Rolling with laughter FFRR TD6 HSE

Was better than potentially wrecking the SC's wheels or finchy bumpers Stan...

I'll be checking my SC wheels tomorrow to see if they have sustained any damage. I cant see the wheels at the mo as they are caked in it. Very Happy FFRR TD6 HSE

Should have drove through the three fords we did at the end pal... My wheels are the only clean parts on the truck!

My SC has 22's so that was my worry... Eeeek!

Yeah, mine are only 20s so alittle more tyre there to protect the wheels. We did the fords but some of the mud seems to have stuck on there. FFRR TD6 HSE

My bonnet is basically another colour!!! The last few "puddles" we went through, caused a tidal wave of mud which swept across it.
It will be good fun to pressure wash it off tomorrow.

I don't even want to look under the bonnet Shocked FFRR TD6 HSE

Glad everyone enjoyed the day out - I know I did! Thumbs Up

The FFRR is just as capable as a d3; after all, they're both from the same factory, and the later (post 07) versions have a very similar drive train!

Would love a TDV8, but just can't afford one! Mr. Green Regards,
Mick

Glad to see you guys had a good time. Sorry if the meal was a bit rushed, we had to change venue at short notice because numbers swelled. We have however booked the function room for the whole night next year so nobody will be rushed.

The FFRR is very capable, and its nice to see them out on the plain getting a bit muddy, I always like to leave my D3 like that for a few days just so that the neighbours know it's not a Chelsea tractor. Not that mine looks like that now it's got a winch and snorkel etc.

By the way there is no truth (well hardly any) in the rumour that I HAD to use my winch to winch myself out. Embarassed

All good fun through.

I'm sorry I didn't get to speak to everyone, it was all a bit manic first thing, especially as Bodsy gave me half of the contents of his boot, some of which had to go on my roof. I did mange to speak to a couple of you guys and hopefully next time I'll get to speak to the rest of you!

I'm glad your group leaders looked after you I've already thanked them all and in particular I'd like to thank MarkB for all of his help with the routes.

If you want to put a date in your diary, then we're doing it again next year on Dec 1st!

Nice conversion BTW Thumbs Up Quite often small groups of us go out on the plain, you're more than welcome to join us if you want to....
Cheers,
Garry
