I may the the only one here who had the 3.6 TDV8 remapped by JE and whilst it did have slightly better MPG and power/torgue, eventually I used IDS to put the new Land Rover calibration file back into the ECU and it is now "stock" again, however, the new calibration file sorted out many small issues with the orginal staock map and the JE map:

(1) No noise from turbo actuators when ignition on and off
(2) Warm up map much better
(3) Complete absence of jerkiness on some slow speed part throttle shifts
(4) MPG same as JE map
(5) JE map produced too much black smoke when under full throttle (just follow one!)

and a whole host of other small improvements, so I would personally move to the new stock calibration file only!

There's a drivetrain software update available for the TDV8, perhaps this is it?

I'm going to have it done durig my service then re install my Bluefin, hope it doesn't mess it up lol

For the uninformed, how do you that and who can do it?

Had the JE re-map today. Very pleased. Massive torque wave, smooth delivery and a 10% improvement in mpg so far.

I find I'm only using half throttle and FF is now being thrown down the road Wink
