Mine are festoons scarey so wont go in the sidelights.

How easily did the metal strips bend to compensate for the shorter size festoon?. I have found what i want but they only offer 31mm or 44mm so im thinking of the 44mm, will the strips pull apart to allow the bigger fitment?

The 31mm is a T10 but the 44mm a T11, whats the difference, a bigger diameter or something?. I thought it was a C5W fitment?.
