Folks tried a search with no joy, hence any ideas?

2006 SC - been having some issues with suspension fault error coing up on the dash - my work around at present has been to put the key in the ignition till the orange ride height light comes on, then start the engine (if I perform this too quick the organe light doesn't come on & I get the fault from the offset)

If i can get going with out the error fault, after say 20 miles the error light comes on.

This morning I had AUX come up on the dash before the suspension fault?

I've had the car into garage twice & they can't replicate the fault - any ideas?

the most basic thing you can do is to dis-connect and re-connect the battery..do the steering wheel full lock left then full right...

did the dealer hook it up to diagnostics and get any fault codes.. ..............................

No fault codes showing up Scarey. I might try the filter clean out on the air compressor at the weekend

Try this.

When you get the suspension fault message, slow down to below 30 (35?) mph and try to raise the suspension to off road height.

You may then get a message along the lines of "vehicle will lift when system cooled". If you do, this indicates the initial fault being reported was the compressor shutting down because it has run too long, and over heated.

If the compressor has run too long, you probably have a leak somewhere. Mine did this a few days ago, and finding the leak was pretty straightforward, sounded like an angry snake under the front o/s wheel arch, but a slower leak may call for a spray bottle of soapy water to be deployed.

I think AUX if just the auxiliary audio input channel selected on the wireless
