I think there may be common theme on the 2005 touchscreen, but i would like to find out from anyone else who has a 2005 TD6 with touchscreen if they have a remote.

I dont have one, and there is no telestart receiver in mine. I was looking at the automate system the other night and one of the FBH settings said something like Park heating start from remote or MID. Therefore was there a situation on the first touchscreen models that they may have set them to start from remote but no remote systems fitted? i know that sounds stupid but nothing with Landrover would surprise me and some of the dealers lacked basic training in Lego. It is so anoying this weather hearing all you guys getting into nice warm cars, and mine appears to have the facility but not ability and it was -7 in cardiff today!!!!

It does seem very common,

If you've checked your battery, heater setting etc,
And it works with engine start,

Then you only have internal car setup to question,

Some ones going to have to make a trip to the stealers

Sorry but can't help as i know mine is a 2005 TouchScreen but it had Remote Park Heating as an option but the remote was never passed on  FFRR 2005 facelift With an SC Grille and that's it!
