Can i just make a point, "never on any customers cars!" but on my own car (2012 conversion) i only drilled one hole and fitted one grommet on each rear light, because if you need to remove the light in the future its easier to take out... You can unscrew the metal fittings from the new lights using a 10mm spanner/socket...

I have seen a few 2010/11/12 rear lights broken by LRO mechanics removing them as you would a 2002-2009 for maintenance and they crack them down the side nearest the wing...

Just a thought for all you DIYers out there who wont get them replaced under warranty if the worst happens!

can i make a point as well Mr. Green ...its very easy to get a 'thin' 10mm spanner and undo the bolts holding the light in so do as i did and replace them with allen key round bolts... ... - .- -.
