Smoke on Engine off

Hi, help!

Just been out, and on stopping had a small plume of white smoke out from under the car (towards the front). Started up again, no smoke nada. Then, turned it off and a the same, a small plume of smoke from the same area.

Saw someone comment before this could be the fuel burning heater, however i'm not sure if i've got one installed? How do i tell and could it be anything else - with twins on the way i'm nervous about a big bill.

Thanks,

Simon,

Its around that area, i've read a few more posts like this one http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic5111.html?highlight=smoke and i'm fairly convinced between what you've just said and these.

Going to sit down now and avoid the pending heart attack brought on by the thoughts of replacing exhausts and turbos (PHEW)

Many thanks for the reply!

Almost certainly the FBH.

I stand to be corrected but I believe all L322 diesels have one fitted.

Mine does the same sometimes. -----------------------------------------------
