Good Evening firstly,

I know the code for the TV in motion 753 and how to do it, works okay! but is there a way to make this permanent?
I have also seen somewhere on here a code 1791 I think it is, only what is this? and are there any more codes? and just how do you get there (what steps are involved?)

any info appreciated, I think that's it!!......................no it isn't is the FBH resistor a necessary upgrade or not? everything works just vents cold all the time!!

The only permanent solution is to buy a cable that plugs into the boxes in the boot. You can find them on eBay.

If you have the touch screen, its not cheap. You have to ask yourself just how much you want to watch TV on the move.

Personally, I find the reception so poor its not worth it. I've done it less than 5 times in the past year I'm sure. Discovery 4 HSE

The other way is to find someone with Autologic diagnostics.

You can programme various body module activations, including, anti hijack locking, beeping and tv in motion.

And they generally charge the same price as buying the fixed cable. Discovery 4 HSE

On the non touch screen you can do it with an ibus interface (@ £40) and Navcoder (@ £17), but as RRUK says its just not worth it for TV watching, although more suitable if you have DVD plumbed in via the AV channel (which is all my analog tv module will be any good for once the digital switch takes place  .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember
