Would you use this oil..

Eurocarparts have This Oil listed for the TD6. Was thinking of doing a 'between service' oil change. Would you use it ?

My gut reaction? If you have to ask, then you know you have concerns about it, and is it worth risking lunching your engine for a tenner extra or so?

Any clean oil is better than super-dooper-magnet-containing-synthetic oil if it's clean.

I've always worked on the theory cheap oil (of the right viscosity) changed twice as often is better and cheaper than the expensive stuff full of carbon grains circulating forever.

It's worked out for me as I've had a lot of cars go to 200k or more and bikes that have over 100K without a rebuild!

Maybe to flush with only.

but it's only semi synthetic,

spec is fully synthetic (awaits flamers Smile) .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink
