2015 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Barolo Black
Service costs

Approaching 70k now, and got me thinking - I would imagine the next service (80k?) is a major one with cambelt etc.

Any ideas on the service costs at this stage - should i start re-mortgaging now?

I've got a TD6 Vogue, and would prefer to keep the service LR if possible __________________

When you say Land Rover im guessing you mean main dealers like Guy Salmons in Portsmouth?

I would go specialist, unless its fairly new.

And I would change your cambelt for £90! Thumbs Up Reformed

You're right we should tell him

Ok, it's like this

The nice people at your Land Rover dealership are not in the slightest interested in your car now as it is too old for them to sell on their forecourt, so when you go to trade it in all they will do is offer you as little as they think they will get away with and put it to auction.

So what you should do is find a good indy close by and let him service it for around half the cost of what Land Rover would charge, because when you trade it in I doubt if the dealer will even ask the question, "does it have a service history?"

Also . . . . .
Have a look at the previous services.
They should go something like -
Oil
Insp 1
Oil
Insp 2
. . . . and so on.
The mileage doesn't necessarily mean anything.
The above "loop" will tell you what it needs next.

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?
