The reflector and the bumper mounting.  – 63 viewsNote the position of your wiring coming out of the reflector, so that you drill the hole in the right place!

Take the Drill to the bumper – 52 viewsYou have to drill at an angle to avoid damaging the black or painted bumper parts. I started off with a small pilot drill making three small holes in a line then moved up to an "8" and just waggled that about until they all joined together. Clean up the scraggy bits with a craft knife or similar. Its all plastic, nothing to go rusty so no additional protection needed.

Hole drilled and cleaned up – 58 viewsYou should end up with a hole @ 0.75cm wide by 1.5cm deep.

Feeding the cable – 60 viewsUnless you made a big hole, you will have to feed each line of the cable separately so that you can fit the connectors through. One both are inside the bumper, just keep feeding it in, wiggling if it seems to get stuck.

Feeding the cable – 56 viewsThe wiring comes out around the back of the bumper and you should be able to see it up near the exhaust pipe. Pull it down and round so that it runs along the bumper mountings.

Offering up – 51 viewsConnect up the reflector wiring to the wiring you have inserted into the bumper, wrap all the connectors/connections in electrical tape, push these through the hole one at a time, feed in the wiring and and offer it up to the hole, to make sure it all fits nicely.

Refitting the reflector – 53 viewsI was worried this was going to be a bit tricky, but there is enough pliability in everything to make it go back OK. Push the wiring completely into the hole, then gently force the two bottom clips in, and usuing a screwdriver to depress the spring clip, work the reflector into place.

Test it all works – 53 viewsJust worth checking before you go on.

Connecting up the lights with the power – 56 viewsI tried wiring these LEDs in series but they wouldn\'t work that way (?) so just wired them into the power and earth together.

Tidy up wiring with cable ties – 54 viewsConvenient bumper supports make this easy

Wiring into the cabin – 57 viewsI pushed out the trailer grommet from the inside, which gave me just enough room to drill some holes in the space on the left of the grommet. Then with a lot of pushing, shoving and swearing I managed to force the wiring through the holes, which seem to seal back up as soon as you make them! Getting the grommet back in was just as much fun. I ended up lying completely under the car (feet by gearbox) so my hands were in the right position to push it back into place. A screwdriver helps here also.
