Depends on whether Vogue/Vogue SE/Autobiography......

Vogue is just slightly more than SC AB.

I do like that.

interesting, i would certainly consider the 5.0 what extra bits do you get on an AB rather than a vogue and what sort of mpg do you get on a run, compared to my td6?

I keep brimmed records of MPG of my TD6 and I get mid to high 20's. That's gentle driving on mostly A roads and motorways. I hardly do any town driving. From posts by owners the 5.0 sc can get mid twenties when cruising - so not a lot different. Here in Switzerland diesel is about 5% more than petrol - factor that in and that's not a lot of difference, and which would you rather drive?

Stop-start town would would be quite a bit worse though, and if you put your foot down a 500bhp petrol motor will burn up quite a bit more fuel than a 180bhp diesel. Laughing

yep i reckon that i get 24 on mixed driving, all gentle really as i have something else for speed Wink

so by the sound of it not much different.... how does the 5.0 compare with the 4.2SC? am guessing similar but older technology?

cheers

andy
