They did offer them in the L405 in both old and facelift. They're just rarer than hens teeth.
I looked at one at Shukers in 2019 but felt the engine didn't suit the car and went with a 4.4 diesel. |

No, different boxes.
TDV8 is a ZF, the 2002 will be either a GM or a ZF depending on engine, but either way they're not interchangeable. |
