Yes still using the icarsoft tool as wimped out of buying the IID tool. Would the IID tool tell me more info then ?

OK Update

Removed compressor, looked at cylinder. Piston ring seems to be nice tight fit. So re-assembled. Whilst in boot saw brass thing attached to compressor part number MAV500010 so googled it ...

So if the pressure is too low does that mean it needs a new compressor and that fitting a new piston ring did not do the trick ?

ok, I did the pressure reading on the data stream and it says 9.14 bar. so think that's ok isn't it ?
