Battery replaced but U2109 fault still present

I spoke to Inschape Chester but they refused to carryout the reset of the Telemetry ECU because I had changed the battery.

I have purchase a battery for the telemetry unit.

The steps as I understand them are
1 Car in service mode via app or website
2 Disconnect Battery Negative termininal
3 Remove kick panel above ...

Yes I could have done that, but to access the connector i needed to remove the panel that covers the plenum and i could see where the wire was caught so i have repaired the wire reconnected ...
