Personally I would not want a car that has a fault that could not be traced after 2 months!
I would insist on a full refund ASAP just in case the dealer is financial difficulties. |

Well done! The bushes in the upper and lower arms are not worth replacing. The arms bend when you extract the old bushes and aftermarket arms are about £100 each.

| I think the rear subframe bushes have as much influence on the ride quality as the shock absorbers and air bags. Worth replacing if not done already. |

| I did it with someone to put a foot on the brake. Not difficult if you have a torque wrench that exceeds the value. Knocking the lock tabs in is awkward but doable. |

You definitely don’t want to distort the back plate, it will impact the operation of the brake shoes. The shoes need to on a flat surface.

Are your back plates rusted away where the brake shoe hold down pins locate? Is this why you want to replace them?
I had the same problem earlier this year - no stock of the 2010 - 2012 brake back ... |

| If you have removed the Caliper from the car fit a suitable grease nipple to an open port and pump grease in, not failed yet for me. |
