Agree with above, though it wouldn’t hurt to clean with diluted sugar-soap prior.
I usually apply PVA same day as skimming, but make sure it’s not still wet |

After fitting the loom and module for my deployable steps, I reconnected the battery and it now won’t start.
It recognises alarm/lock/unlock from the fob and I get the sky picture on the dash, but ... |

Sounds very much like a faulty alternator.
They can take a battery down with them... or just appear to be a faulty battery.
Did you keep the old battery, just in case? |
