If it’s just to check and clear faults, you should be fine.
If you want to change any settings, you’d need to pay a fee to have the tool enabled for you VIN number. |

| Not necessarily, the G3 works fine on my MY17, although I believe there may be some things you can’t do but I haven’t found anything that hasn’t worked. |
