I spoke to somebody today who confirmed it is software only but the can bus system is hard to tap into and change ?!?
It would make sense as to be honest, if it can close by the fob, it should real ... |

| I have wondered about this also! My FOB only open the top tailgate, i have to use the button on the lower tailgate itself to open that yet BOTH will close with one touch of the button on the keyfob ... |
