Just bumping this...
A real nuisance this is... to get a comfortable cabin temperature I have to turn it all the way down for 20 secs or so, then up to 17/18 and it'll get hot again, so back down ... |

Figured it out... you have to really squeeze the prong, and it must go in from right to left or else it'll break.
