Mine wasn't a leak either.. a lot of the problems started when my battery was on the way out.. the classic symptom is the amp crackling when the battery starts to drop.

| The suggestion (and a general rule of thumb) is to remove the negative terminal of the battery. I didn't and simply unplugged the connection to the pump, covered it in a plastic bag and tucked away..

| I had to cut mine, there was no chance of it unscrewing.. best to cut it off as you dont want to break the bracket on the chasis it screws onto. |

Hi folks, the rubber tie that holds the fuel cap has perished and broke (see picture). Assume you can't buy it on its own. Has anybody got any ideas and suggest a mod?

Good idea, but as some others have said too.. its not as straight forward as it sounds.
