They say it’s very common and nothing to worry about you can get reconditioned Bosch pumps for approx £250-£300.
I'd love to know from where as the lowest I've seen is £800-ish |

Nothing to report other than I have bought an adaptor based on Baloonengineer's sizing in his HPFP thread. Now I need to source a gauge and I need to look up how to loosen the Schrader valve.

ZF doesn't make the oil, does it? - what company does, I do not know.
Surely someone, somewhere has analysed it hence why there are other suppliers. Is it any different from Dexron ATF? Who knows?

The pump has a fuel temperature sensor and a metering valve. It is all in the workshop manual in the wiki.
What made you think to use the spray? I've never heard of it before.

It should have around 5 bar from the filter pressure port. There are a few threads on the internet with crank no start after a replacement HPFP, but they've never been finished with the fix.
