You would think, but it did not.
Just to follow up here in case anyone else has trouble, on my 07 supercharged replaced the height sensor with this item and its right as rain.

I’ve noticed a more frequent but intermittent sound coming from my steering wheel when being moved. At times the sound is completely absent!

+1 did this today. 020 Varta fitted into ‘07 supercharged.
Only mod was the side plastic dremel removal. Clamps etc fitted as normal and fuse wasn’t too tightly pushed up on positive side.
