I e already painted the tailgate , New paint it lighter than original ,

Like you, I've dressed my garage up with plastic sheet and just colour coded my A and D pillars which have turned out nice. Front bumper next.

| I never even looked into the material, literally body shops I spoke to were useless. I contacted approximately 30 in the local area , only 6 did I manage to get a quote from! |

Every single body shop I spoke to gave me a bullshit reason why they can’t do it , those that would undertake it said they can’t weld aluminium but it definitely needs a new qtr panel.

Managed to get a quick few coats of primer on ,
I used a few sheets of a4 paper folded back over itself so as not to have and harsh lines I really only got the primer on so I can see what my panel ... |

Mark out where the profile is and then sand to the line . ... |
