Should the battery be recharged using a AGM specific battery charger or will the cars alternator recharge the battery back to a healthy condition.

My 2010 upper tailgate lifts off the lock so that you can open it without having to press the micro switch.....
My 2008 didn’t.
I assume the gas struts were starting to fail on my 2008. |

I fitted a kit to my 2007 a few years ago, although buy the bolts yourself, LR want about £10.00 for two bolts.
My 2010 came with one, guess they were standard fitment from 2010 onwards. |

Had exactly the same issue yesterday...... 8 years of dust and grit in the latch mechanisms. and the manual release doesn't work too well when there in this state.
Easy enough job to remove and clean ... |
