Turned out to be a gremlin whose moved out. This morning, after a 1hr drive we reset it again, and so far after several hours of further driving it remains fault free!

Car done about 84k miles and although i have lovingly looked after it since 66k, the past owner didnt have the same mantra.

Could a steering sensor throw up a fault when the ABS ECU is replaced / reset? Its a new issue not seen before and dont know whether its a symptom of another issue now we have a replacement ECU fitted ...
