Just got my '06 model and disappointed in the the loudness from my Ipod via the Aux socket - it just isn't very loud  I've got the Ipod on full volume but it's really quite compared to the CD.

| Happened to me last year - expect the worse. Your probably looking at a new/reconditioned gearbox plus gearbox cooler and all new liquids = approx £2500 if done at a garage. |

Ok, I think this deserves a post as it may help someone else with the wrong expansion tank cap on their 4.4 V8 BMW engine (2003-2005).
You need a '200' cap for the BMW engined 4.4 V8 -
