Not sure if will help your prob but try putting vehicle in tow mode by removing the fuse etc then taking it out of toe mode see if that helps, Ive had this come up on me a few times on my 04 V8 ...

In both your cases, look at the dash display to see if it shows R or D when this happens again.


Nope mine is saying select Neutral...
