| It was the tensioner bearing worn (very rough bearing), tensioner, idler and belt replaced........all quiet now, just the lovely V8 burbling along. |

The reason I ask is that my range rovers parking sensors were not very accurate so had some after market laser sensors fitted which allegedly may possibly interfere with laser speed guns!!!
