So, are you saying that if the connections are bad the unit will not show up on the display screen? I will pull the unit out and check/clean all the connections, see if that fixes the problem. Thanks ...

No idea why, but my earlier posts seem to have gone and I could not log in, so have had to re-join!
My passenger door lock is superllocked, door latch solenoid has packed up and I cannot get the door ...
