Yes only had mine on 6 months, I have been told it may be the key wedge that has already worn, they are in the folding arms of the steps. may be able to adjust them but more likely steps need to come ...

I got the MANN filter yesterday came with a bag of 'O' rings but can't see where they all go, on the old filter which is same as new one even the filter casing hasen't got one on, are they not used ?

Yes all bolts tight, noise seems to be as the steps close near the brakets.

All done, put the allen key socket in a vice then tightend nut with ring spanner. thanks for all the help.

Don't think the hex would be able to take 90Nm of force it would strip the corners off.

There is an allen key hole on top of the shaft but the problem is then getting a socket on.

the problem is the whole shaft spins as you tighten the nut.

Don't think it's the glow plugs as this is a wait of 10 seconds or so, and also happens when engine is hot.
