Thanks mrd1990, I think we still have our old router, therefore ill give it a go.
I don't think it's the broadband, but the wireless traffic, therefore I think you're probably right!

I have a couple of IP cameras at home, however we find that the continual streaming slows the home network down. We now only switch them on whilst on holiday.
