Have you had a look at the MaF sensor? Is it filthy?
ive seen lots of other posts about air leak post MAF which affect the engine running with MAF plugged in.
when MAF is unplugged the ECM defaults ...

You say the car won’t idle or rev. What does it actually do? Starts ok just won’t idle steadily and hunts around? Or something else?

hahah yes they are bloody heavy but does give you absolutely confidence when lifting stuff!

sounds like you just need to figure what is causing either actually low fuel pressure or a false low pressur ...

I’d suspect fuel delivery/pressure issue. You could always try some easy start to see if it coughs into life then dies?
