rr now back and running sweet,well as sweet as a td6 can.
gearbox was a dodgy connection from reverse solonoid
took specialist few days to find. engine surge was engine ecu
talking to gearbox ecu. ... |

well just had a call from garage and the new gearbox is faulty.is being picked up
by gearbox supplier to sort out. at least it should be okay this time.last time had a freelander

just had new box fitted 2 weeks ago, on drive home nice and smooth but seemed to lack a bit of power.

at last got the rr back and feels nice and smooth. one more

should be picking rr up tomorrow, so fingers crossed all sorted.
can't wait to give the freelander back, not as bad as i first thought
but not quite the same as a proper motor.

from what i understand it produces metal swarf which gets into gearbox so bits of metal
all floating about. gearbox itself seemed ok but could have all gone tits up at any time.
they spoke to a gear ... |

hi budgi, got to say wasn't what i was expecting but looking on the bright side
at least i know the turbo is okay and got them to change breather filter.also now

well the good news its not the turbo.
lucky for me its only the torque converter eating itself ,
left at garage for new gearbox etc £2800 happy days

K.P. thats what i thought it was but going away a week saturday on a 2 week cruise and dont want to
be standing on the hard shoulder of m3/m27 on way to or from southamton so really want to get
