first thing i'll do is a reset with a IID tool.
i did it on my L322 when i mounted a new wheel set as the tpms light was on |

on mine the fan run normally to cool the seat, but not heating as ther's a security
if the pipe is broken there's no air running through the heat resistence, too hot so the ecu shut down the fan |

hello
have the same problem on my RR
strip the back rest seat, the pipe was broken, the ecu shut down the fan but leave the light on. |
