If you have RSE then you just need a single jack connection to the aux socket in the back (back panel of centre module). Connect your iPod to this, and select aux on the stereo.

You can also use an iPod for playing on the screens if you use the three plugs for one of the av inputs.

Hope this helps! Thumbs Up Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

I looked into this and the costs seem stupid for what you gain I just bough a little FM transmitter for the I pod with a remote off the bay it works fine and is a £4.99 fix not a £300! Thumbs Up
( I bought one that plugs into the I pod port not headphone socket as i thought it was neater and a bonus it powers up off the I pod or you can charge the I pod through it) Mine was a blue one! Smile

I've been around and around and around this loop, tried a few things, and eventually settled on a Veba inline wired FM modulator - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...SA:GB:1123

Fairly simple to install, mine's in the boot in the "audio compartment" with just a 3.5mm extension jack lead running to the front. I did buy the "Connects2" version first, having previously used their products successfully, but this one simply wasn't loud enough - when I asked the shop about it, they agreed and said it was factory-set and couldn't be altered, so they refunded me.

The good thing about this is that it plays straight into the aerial cable, so there's much less interference. Allegedly it blocks all other signals on the selected frequency, but I doubt that. Does work adequately though - just don't expect hi-fi!

Shame about the Connects2 unit, as it comes with a pukka i-thing connector which plays out but also charges at the same time. With the Veba, you have to have a separate charger lead connected.

If you need any installation tips, let me know.

Most of these FF's cost upwards of £10k... Surely £300 for music is not over the top...

My O.E. iPod dock (made for the 07> but fits from 54 Touch screen onwards...) works brilliantly, use the steering wheel controls and tells you the track names on the screen and charges the iPod/iPhone too... Much like my old Intravee kit in my last FF... I did'nt quibble over the purchase price of that either!

IMHO worth every penny...

I paid £325 for mine at a main agent including VAT and installed it myself when i changed the Nav surround to piano black... (painted as not available to buy anywhere)

Not too hard to do, but you do have to find somewhere to mount a couple of parts that dont fit where they are designed to fit on an 07> FF

I bought a fm modulator from the states..and connect via aux cable. Only thing is my radio doesn't work v well anymore probably cause I had to cut the antenna wires to join them as the connections were different, sound is quite good. Also I have a tunelink which is great- can connect via aux or fm but uses Bluetooth, auto connects, it's great, no wires.

Recognize this connector..?

Before I buy anything, does anyone know if this connector is on either back of touchscreen or in the boot somewhere. I have the logic 7 Harmon kardon.

http://db.tt/dudQfk7p

I saw it in eBay they claim it fits RR vogue 2006 on..

http://bit.ly/wJQ6U6

I have to take my fm modulator out cause my radio ain't working so I'm looking for a cheap solution if possible..

Thanks lads
