Morning chaps
How does the compass on the off road screen work? (05 touch screen)
when I try it I just get a grey box that says unavailable?

My daughter was randomly pressing buttons on the screen last night and came across the compass. Its 'unavailable' on mine too. Surely this isn't a cost option.....

@NKSC The compass feature does work on it Nick , i have had it displayed and for the love of God i cannot remember how i did it …. ====================================

Not sure if I'd ever need it TBH, but as Dave.S says "if its there"!

Perhaps it only works when in offroad setting?

you need to select 'off road navigation' and the compass will be there.....

Thats where i was looking stan I push the soft key and just get a grey square saying compass not avaliable
you get one on the sat nav screen just wondered if its another fault or an option

is this what you are doing andy,

press the hard nav key
press 'i agree' soft key on the nav screen
then press the hard nav key again and the options come up..

Just checked again.

I was looking in the offroad info screen and selecting the compass soft key and the compass was unavailable. If you do what Stan says and activate the offroad navigation and then go back to the offroad info screen the comapss is there. Thumbs Up
