Floating

Just lately i have began to notice that at High'ish speeds my car seems to be doing a lot more floating , wallowing kind of feeling. makes for an un-easy ride roundabout the 80/90 mark Whistle

Have checked the tyres , all okay , take it this could be a suspension issue.

Plus these (Overfinch Kits) does anyone know if they help stability and drag on the FFRR........ A bit curious, maybe solve my earlier query...... Whistle

Have you removed the spolier from the bottom of the bumper lately? - This will upset the air flowing inder the car.

Is the suspension lowering as it should? - Obviosly if it isnt then the car is higher than it should be, although I didn't notice a problem when towing (it locks in standard height) no, caravans dont disintegrate at 90 Whistle

Are you running Goodyear Wranglers? - Possibly the worst tyres in the world, when they get to 50% warn they wander all over the place.

Never removed the spoiler , the suspension on the S/C does not lower until you do 100mph Exclamation

Car is running on Continentals

Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Good one Dan , I questioned the sales guy why they took the lowering aspect off the S/C and that was his reply "it kicks in at a Ton" , when on my previous diesel version the car automatically lowered at 50.

But as i said the floating effect is quite scary at times....... Thumbs Up

No offence but they are the Fugliest cars in the world and are seriously lacking class.

I'd rather have a Freelander!

Not wishing to diss the G, but I also can't see why anyone wants one, they seem very over priced for an old fashioned design....perhaps I'm missing something? Discovery 4 HSE

I imagine it would be akin to putting a 6L SC V12 in a Series 3, go like Censored off a shovel, but who the hell would want to?

You see thats the differance I want a car thats different and fit for purpose the FFRR is not for me its way way to nice, Loved every moment when I drove her. Put her in Mud and people dont get it they even devalue the car its a F U C K I N G Land Rover so get over it. It should be in MUD The G for me wins hands down its a tried and very tested design which I like.

I know the FFRR is nicer but I know where I want to be and its not a FFRR at the moment Thumbs Up

I agree with Ken - The first advce a new buyer is given is "look for signs of off-road use or towing" THAT'S WHAT IT'S FOR!
