Years back when the Mazda RX-8 came out i bought one just for the sake of it , they looked good , anyhow in a years ownership i had only done 2000 miles in it so got shot of it , at the time they were released they cost just over the £23k / £25k mark approx 8 year ago …

They are taxed quite highly IIRC and people still worry massively about rotor tip wear due to people forgetting to add a bit of oil to the fuel sometimes IIRC |

I think they've also dated quite badly, which hasn't helped.

I think it's sign of the times ? I can't imagine any vehicle holding value nowadays over a period. Even classics are dropping off.
