remotes not working

weird thing happened last night roughly between 7 and 10 ...all our remotes would not work , this included the house remotes that control the lights etc and the car remotes...we have 3 cars in the household and neither would lock/unlock unless youe stood right next to them and pressed the button about 20/30 times...same with the house remotes , they would only [maybe] work if you were right next to them...
this all stopped about 10.20 and all the remotes both car and house worked perfectly..

there are no ham radio peeps around and i live nearly on the very edge of north west swindon so no factories etc near by....

except for aliens any one hazard a guess of what might have happened.. ... - .- -.

South Africa 2009 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Had something similar happen on a green lane trip once, 3 Discovery's and a Defender. One Discovery stopped dead and the hazards came on, mine switched the radio to an emergency mode (!) and the other Discovery just had his hazards trigger. Defender was fine.....

It was kinda spooky! Land Rover Addict

I have a vague recollection that car thiefs have been known to use a jammer in the hope that it stops you locking your car. Probably being a bit paranoid, but watch out.

thanks paul but i have solved the problem...

its my 15 year son messing about with a set of wireless parking sensors i brought many moons ago and never fitted so i gave them to my boy who has stripped them all down and is using them as proximity sensors in his bedroom and corridor [? dont ask Laughing ]...
when they are switched on ,all remotes stop working in and around the outside of the house , clever really.. ... - .- -.
