Its a shame they haven't sorted it out so that flash works....I recently got a galaxy and I have to say I prefer android! Don't think I would ever go back to apple again.

The retina display would be the big selling point for me. I'd like to see it in the flesh before deciding though.

I still dont undertand why they haven't brough retina displays to laptops and other computers yet. If an ipad CPU can drive that, then surely laptops can. V8 or else ...

Considering getting one to replace my iPad 2 and also 1 to replace the wife's iPad1 (which she 'inherited' when I upgraded last year), the big draw is the increased resolution display, images will look fantastic and text will be really sharp (i prefer to read books on my iPhone simply for the better resolution). Still undecided though.

On an related note, I just had my IPad 2 replaced last weekend at the apple store. I had noticed a 'light leak' in 2 corners of the screen when watching movies so took it in to the Genius bar. They swapped it out and even replaced my leather cover as well. Doubt that I'd have got the same service from Dixon's et al.

EDIT: meant to add that the apple store replaced my iPad 2 almost 11 months after I bought it

Thumbs Up

I have ordered a 32gb, Wifi.

I have a 64gb with 3g at the moment and have only used the 3g once in a year. As you can tether you phone to it is seems a waste of money.

So, my plan is to sell the 64gb for about the same money as the new one Thumbs Up

I have Confused - Love my iPhone 4 and the 3GS before it, never had an iPad, but they have grown on me over the past few months having sampled one and in talking to ipad owners.

Unfortunately I became well and truly wrapped up in the hype and followed the launch event yesterday with too much interest Embarassed and then when finally the UK Apple Store went live at around 11.50pm last night secured myself a 3rd generation "new iPad" 32GB with wifi Very Happy AND delivery to my office free of charge for launch day - 16th March Thumbs Up

No need for 4G as will tether the iPhone to it if I really need too Whistle

Very happy Razz

Just in case you didn't know, 4G models have GPS, wifi models don't...........
To me, that is reason enough to get the 4G version..
