So I'm guessing if it's 2 tonne gross, it will only carry roughly 1.4 - tonne (ish)

yes its 2ton gross i would say it can carry about 1.4-1.5t to be 100% sure it would need to be put on the scales

Just replate it then Johnte.

Not hard to do really and the plates can be bought from the manufacturer or the bay Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Looks like you might need new wheels too for a heavier load - my Ifor Williams looks very similar structurally but has wider wheels - it's 3500kg - probably worth getting a serial number & talking to the manufacturer.

yes if i was using it for 3500kgs i would get the wheels changed, everything else is the exact same
i have the serial number here if anyone wants to ask them the question. I previously had a beavertail version of this and it was plated to 2600kgs and it was a great trailer.
only reason im selling it as i have bought this proper car transporter

Have you tried an ad on the SLROC website? There are often people over there looking for trailers for carting around racers to events. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes
