Access Height Occasionally Triggering Air Susp Inactive

Test drove a 07MY 4.2 today and the owner informed me that occasionally when entering access height it faults out. He said this happened before some years ago and a valve was replaced costing £75 that fixed the issue - I tested the air susp when there and it seemed fine, what valve could he be referring to?

More likely to be the compressor not producing enough air

Is the compressor used when going from normal to access? I would have thought a pressure release valve would be operating to de pressurise the system

No. the pressure is released through a valve in the boot. Was fiddling with my suspension at the weekend had the boot floor open and you can hear the air coming out when you lower the car. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Think he has the original receipt for replacement part - will check with him what it was that was replaced.
