Daft question, bit how should the service shedule run in a tdv8.

I know it's condition based serviceing and as indicated on the dash.

I was under the impression that it was as BMW ie oil insp1 oil insp2 etc

I can understand this for the BMW engines but not for the tdv8 which is in effect a ford engine.

Just wondering as the selling main dealer carried out a service before letting me have the car. Nice of them, but they stamped it up as an inspection 1. Whereas in the shedule it should IMHO be an insp2.

However reading the service sheets insp1 for the td6 this would not include an air filter change. WhIch was done.

Sounds to me that they did the cOrrect serv but not stamped it right. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

well mine reads: oil service @ 9037, insp1 @ 16533, oil service @ 26304, and no tick @ 36892.

seems to really vary on how it is driven.

fully dealer stamped so don't care really. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE
