Greys

Ive fitted some of the newer side vents with the three fins at the top - very pleased with them. However they are a darker grey than the old vents and also darker than the door handles, the mesh is particularly dark compared to the silver of the old ones.

So in the never ending world of pimping, tastefully or otherwise, my RR I may have to repaint the door handles and that huge plastic bonnet vent (which I don't like anyway) to be a better match, maybe even the side step trims.

So the question is - if it ain't Brunel Grey what colour might it be? Geoff

So here's the picture of what I think is a rather nice grey side vent against the red and a picture of the crappy looking bonnet vent and the door handle.
So the question is what colours are the side vent? Geoff

The door handles look in pretty good nick, are they original or covers? Would be a shame to paint over them if they are original as any new paint will probably start to scratch off and look tatty. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

Handles and bonnet vent have been on from me getting the car so i assume new.
The side vents I bought on here, genuine LR I should have noted the part number. No one but me really notices the different greys - but you know how it is when something gets under your skin Very Happy Geoff

Your side vents have "Oberon" surrounds and all the other parts are "Brunel" Grey

Thanks Craig, would I be right to assume Oberon door handles aren't available as newer cars would have them body coloured.

Then of course there is the issue of that cheapo looking bonnet vent Sad Geoff

Geoff, mine is colour coded on my Bonatti grey SC... and looks much better... "IMHO" (pics available)

Dont fall into the trap of having the door handles painted as they are made of a plastic that does not accept paint well (hence why Land Rover did not paint them body colour until 2011) That's why the Powerfuluk.com stick on covers exist in the first place...
