De-cat a TDV8 and other tuning for TDV8s (apart from remaps)

Has anyone de-cat their TDV8 before?
What performance and drive ability changes that occur?
I know when you de-cat a petrol vehicle the exhaust tone becomes louder and there is more potent smell of carbon monoxide.

I spoke to Cam Tech Craig about this very briefly however, I wanted explore this avenue a further to see if it worth investing in.

(No mention of tuning or remapping though guys!)

Discusss......

Thanks

Carbon monoxide doesn't have a smell. It is odourless. Smile No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

Carbon monoxide is most definitely odourless... The silent killer it is known as.. Kills many people a year with faulty gas chimneys etc... You should all have a carbon monoxide detector in your homes!!
Anyway, just saying.... Previously..
