2019 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue
Spec comparisons.

Hi all this is my first post so be gentle, I'm looking to buy a FFRR of 2010/11 vintage, probably an SE or maybe an Autobiography. I've looked at and digested loads of dealer ads but the more I look at the less clear it becomes as to what these models actually come with as standard equipment, therefore can anyone point me in the direction of the relative info possibly in list form so it can easily be compared , thanx in advance. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Orkney Grey

I would get in touch with James @ Lookers - he has some amazing 12 plates at unbeatable prices !
Probably nearly as cheap as a good 1 year old.
http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic11107.html

Standard spec without any add on's is still good, but all depends on what you need. Nothing comes with Rear DVD's as standard, so those have to be an add on. SE & AB come with adaptive cruise as standard - Vogue only has normal cruise.

Not much difference between the SE & Autobiography apart from the total leather headlining in the AB.

The biggest difference is in the Vogue to Vogue SE in the seats - the leather is softer and prefered by many in the SE (but that is personal choice of course)

All depends on what your budget is. 2nd hand values are much the same as new - vogue is the cheapest, then SE, then AB.
On a 1 year old, could be anything ftom 5 - 10K difference in price from Vogue to Vogue SE
& maybe 2 - 5K difference on an SE to AB, but really will ultimately depend who added what on when new. There's at least 20K's worth of add ons from the factory available when new Shocked

The only extra standard stuff on a 2011 AB that were cost options on the SE :

Dual View screen (about £550 I think to add on SE)
Adaptive Headlamps (about £250 I think to add on SE)
leather door cards, pillars and full leather headlining with vanity mirrors in the rear

The dual view screen is great if you do long journeys & your passenger wants to watch a DVD, otherwise not probably worth worrying about if you find one you like without it.
Adaptive lamps - I have an SE without & certainly never had a night where I've thought "I wish I had adaptive lamps"
Leather headling is nice & luxurious, but perhaps not as practical as standard and is it really worth the extra ?? Very personal choice on that one.

Otherwise as standard on an SE or AB you'll get :
Perforated leather
Heated & Cooled front seats
Heated rear seats (cooling option is available on the rear seat recline pack + £1600)
Auto dip mirrors
Heated Steering Wheel with Leather Grip
20" alloys (each have different designs as standard though)
Front TV Screen
Adaptive Cruise Control (great as it'll adjust speed according to the vehicle in front - slow down or speed up to max set speed etc )

extras on both that were cost options :
Rear DVD's
Rear Recline / Cooled Rears / Front Passenger Memory
Rear Climate control (standard is already superb though !!)
Piano Black wood trim (or other finishes in AB)
Special Paint colours on AB
Privacy Glass
Side Steps (fixed or deployable)
Various Alloy wheels
Full Size Spare wheel
Wood trim on steering wheel
mats
dual view front screen (SE cost option only)
Climatic Front Screen (or something to that effect) supposidly never gets misted, but you already get heated front screen as standard

I've probably missed something, but sure others will add that in for me Thumbs Up

Scotland 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black

Locking rear diff
Illuminated tread plates, probably the most useless option ever.
Tow bars
Rack & bars.

The official LR website lists all the options and you build your own spec vehicle to calculate what it will all cost.

The price difference between Vogue SE and Autobiography was not as large from what I remember as the Vogue - Vogue SE jump. I would say the Vogue SE represents the best 'value' because as Rolo rightly says, you get the same seats as the Autobiography.

However, whilst I am biased, I would say that the Autobiography interior is much higher quality than the Vogue SE. On a car that originally cost about £76k+, I don't think there should be plastic door casings and centre console. So, that is why I jumped up to Autobiography and am pleased with the leather everywhere (not good if you're Vegetarian or Vegan mind - dread to think how many hides there are). NB in Europe, the leather headlining option is almost €5,000 - in that sense the Autobiography coming standard with this is quite good 'value.'

Tech wise, Autobiography is much the same as Vogue SE in terms of options except adaptive xenons and dual view as standard.
