Scotland 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Tonga Green

Fab timing as spent a while yesterday trying to remove the toe bar on mine and it seems to be the same as this. Is it just the bolt with the locking nut going through horizontally that holds it in place? Mine undid easily enough but the bar wont budge at all even with a little , OK a lot!, of 'persuasion'. If its just the bolt I imagine its corroded in place sort of thing inside the square section tubing.

If its like mine it's rusted in. I had a go at it with plus gaz, jacks and lump hammers then my local indie had a go on the ramp with a sledgehammer still hasn't budged - the pin comes out nice and easy though Shocked Geoff

Mine was seized in place when I bought it. It took a lot of very hard hitting with a copper faced lump hammer to shift it. Be patient it will come out eventually. I then cleaned it thoroughly and keep it stowed in the boot. If ever I need it, it just slips easily into place now. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE
